The purpose of this workbook is to develop your knowledge and skill in identifying development needs and planning to meet those needs for yourself and others.
It helps you to analyse your own and other member of your team’s development needs and learning styles. You should be able to decide how you will plan to meet these development needs, what support mechanisms are available and how the development can be monitored.
Ensuring your people have the right level of skill is crucial to the sustained growth and success of your organisation and research shows that training can:
