The purpose of this unit is to enable you to understand the value of performance management and assessment. How to set SMART objectives, set performance standards and measure against them for a team member. This unit is aimed at practising or potential first line manager.

This is one of 17 modules that have also been developed in line with the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 so learners can use them as a pathway to a formal qualification.
